HACJIVAH DAYIMANI

Hacjivah Dayimani is a South African professional rugby player known for his speed, athleticism and versatility as a loose forward. After beginning his professional career with the Lions, he joined the DHL Stormers and became a key member of the team that won the inaugural United Rugby Championship in the 2021/22 season. Following a move to French Top 14 club Racing 92 in 2024, Hacjivah returned to Cape Town to rejoin the Stormers for the 2025/26 season.

Born to a Xhosa South African mother and a Jewish Nigerian father, Hacjivah proudly represents the different cultures and experiences that have shaped his identity. His individuality extends beyond the rugby field, where his fearless approach to fashion and self-expression has positioned him as one of South Africa’s most distinctive modern athletes.

Hacjivah has appeared on the cover of GQ South Africa and was named Best Dressed: Avant-Garde Style at the publication’s 2024 Best Dressed Awards. He is also the co-founder of luxury African footwear brand Hibacci and has collaborated with leading fashion and lifestyle brands.

Through his work across sport, fashion and entrepreneurship, Hacjivah continues to challenge traditional ideas of what an athlete can represent, inspiring a new generation to embrace individuality, creativity and ambition.
