Kamo WW, born Kamohelo Thabiso Pule in Pretoria, is a dynamic force in South Africa’s entertainment industry. His journey to stardom began unexpectedly with a high school portfolio shoot that led to a Vogue Italia feature, catapulting him into social media fame. Raised in the small town of Brits, Kamo harnessed the power of Instagram and TikTok, captivating audiences with his bold beauty transformations and fashion-forward content. His collaborations with iconic brands like adidas, Converse, Pantene, Maybelline, Dolce & Gabbana, RICH MNISI, and H&M x Mugler have made him a go-to figure in the fashion and beauty world.
Kamo’s star continued to rise with a starring role in YouTube’s “Birth of Stars” and two Feather Award nominations in 2022. However, his breakthrough moment came in 2023 when he debuted “Abafana,” solidifying his status as the first queer amapiano hitmaker.
