While studying Film and Television Production at the University of Cape Town, she launched her YouTube channel, “The Black Wendy,” in 2016 to showcase her comedic talents. Her channel gained popularity for its satirical content, leading to acting roles such as Nolwandle on Isibaya and Rachel on Scandal!.
Wendy’s work has earned her significant recognition, including being a recipient of the prestigious Thumb Stopper Award at the DStv Content Creator Awards. Wendy has written multiple TV shows and Movies for platforms like Mzansi Magic and Netflix.
